I’m a little late to the game on posting pics on the greens areation process, but here are a few pics. We are 7 days post-aerification and in the picture with the quarter you can see how far we’ve come in the healing process. You can see the difference from half of a green aerated and the other half not yet aerified, to pushed clean, to half sanded, to fully sanded, and to 7 days later. Thank you all for your patience in this process and hopefully in just a few more short days you won’t even be able to tell they were ever done. ... See MoreSee Less

Golf Fans. Lincoln will be closed until 5pm on Thursday, August 20th. The maintenance staff will be aerifying the greens on holes #1-9 followed by applying top dressing sand and brushing the sand into the aeration holes in the greens. The putting green and chipping green will be done the day before Wednesday, August 19th. All of this is weather dependent. Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates. Thank you for your understanding and patience as this task gets completed and as the greens heal. ... See MoreSee Less

Finally, Hole #5 is playing back on the tee box. With missing the majority of rain last weekend and earlier this week #5 red and white tee markers are playing as the normal Par 4. The yellow tee markers have also been moved back a little bit to 150 yards out. Please note that the middle of the fairway is quite soft and wet and to please keep out of the roped off area. Any ball that lands in there shall be dropped out of the area where it went in at. Thank you for your continued patience and with any luck we will have the recently opened are down to fairway height in the next week. ... See MoreSee Less

The white tee markers are now at the front of the fairway playing as a 275 yard Par 4 with a carry of 150 yards to go over the soft area in the middle of the fairway. The red and yellow tee markers are playing as a 125 yard Par 3. Please choose your tee carefully as to minimize the amount of traffic through the center of the hole. Cart restrictions are still present so following cart signs accordingly. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as conditions continue to improve. ... See MoreSee Less

With the course firming up and starting grow in a bit more there are a few positive changes to the playability of the golf course.
1)The cart path to #4 tee box and on the north side are now open. Please keep carts on the path at all times on this hole.
2)The chipping green is now open as well.
3) The “Cart Path Only” signs on hole #6 have been removed so carts may travel off the path now.
A few other notes:
- Hole #5 is still being played as a 100-125 yard Par 3. Hopefully we’ll be able to soon back it up towards the front of the fairway for the white tee markers.
- The Mullaly Little Links golf course is still closed at this time, but with warmer weather forecasted next week the plan is to open up towards the end of the week. Only 6 holes will be open for awhile due to flood damage to the north 3 holes (Holes #2-4). Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this process. ... See MoreSee Less

2020 Flood cleanup on holes #4 and #5. The freezing temps at the start of the week (Monday-Wednesday) have set back our ability to wash and clean the silt as the river receded, but with the outstanding effort of the staff and short duration of the river being up has the cleanup looking pretty good so far. Another couple of days and the river should be off the course and with warmer temps on the horizon the course should dry up nicely and golf will hopefully (fingers crossed) be back soon. ...
